Impotence & Frigidity
What is it?
Is a general sexual dysfunction. Frigidity in women is when sexual excitement fails to occur or does not develop into arousal and the woman feels unresponsive to her sexual partner. Impotence in a man is when sexual excitement fails to give rise to an erection. Many foods, drugs and herbs have been held to stimulate or enhance sexual desire.
Lack of sexual drive, sexual dysfunction, low sex drive.
Conventional Practice:
Doctors recognise the complexity of the factors that influence sexual desire. Many doctors do accept some of the claims made for ginseng as an overall tonic and stimulant. Research indicates that the herb may help the body to cope with stress, boost energy and enhance its powers of recovery. Aromatherapy has gained some acceptance since research has shown that scents can affect the mind. A doctor will treat impotence and frigidity by dealing with any underlying physical problems or in more extreme case they may now prescribe viagara.
Alternative Treatments:
Treating illness with highly concentrated oils extracted from plants is known as aromatherapy. These highly scented extracts-called essences or essential oils-contain the substances that give plants their smell. Aromatherapists believe that many also have medicinal properties. More Info
  Herbal Medicine
The medicinal use of herbs is said to be as old as mankind itself. Tribes still use their traditional knowledge of plant and their healing properties passed on from generation to generation. The armies of slave workers who laboured to build the Egyptian pyramids took a daily ration of garlic to ward off the pestilential fevers and infections that were rife at the time. More Info
