Anal Problems
What is it?
An itching bottom is a common irritation, often aggravated by scratching. Sweat, poor hygiene rough or tight clothing, worms, thrush, rashes, piles and sitting down for lengthy periods of time may be causes. Anal bleeding or pain can also have several causes including, piles, bowel disorder, ulcers or anal fissures. Always consult a doctor if itching persists or when there is bleeding.

Conventional Practice:
Doctors approach anal problems in similar ways to those of alternative therapists, pain can be eased by a hot bath. In all cases of anal itching, avoid scratching and keep the area clean and dry.
