Conjunctivitis
What is it?
Grittiness and irritation in the eye. The conjunctiva membrane that covers the white of the eye and inside of the lids becomes inflamed, causing redness and pain (pink eye). Symptoms:
pink eye, inflamed eyelids, grittiness and irritation in eye.
Conventional Practice:
Doctors usually give prescriptions for antihistamine or antibiotic eyedrops.
Alternative Treatments:

The armies of slave workers who laboured to build the Egyptian pyramids took a daily ration of garlic to ward off the pestilential fevers and infections that were rife at the time. More Info
